Our second full year of travel, starting through France to the South West of Spain, then round the Mediterranean coast through France to Italy, the Cinque Terre, the Italian Lakes, Austria, Germany, Luxembourg and back to the UK

The second half of our second gap year, this time through Holland to Germany (Harz Mountains & Dresden), Poland, over the Tatra Mountains to Slovakia and Hungary, into Croatia and south as far as Dubrovnik.  We returned via Lake Bled, Venice, Lake Iseo then along the Italian and French coasts to Spain.

A shorter trip this time, crossing from Cairnryan to Belfast then down through Galway to the Burren.  Back via the Mountains of Mourne to Stranraer

Overland through France via Burgos to Madrid, then on to the Costa de la Luz and back up the Mediterranean coast, returning via Zaragoza.

Newcastle to Amsterdam ferry, then through Germany to Austria for a break in Salzberg, into Slovenia and Croatia, visiting Ljubljana, Zagreb and the Krka waterfalls as well as revisiting the Croatian coast, before returning via Austria, Germany (Passau) and Holland.

A quiet fortnight revisiting the Norfolk we last saw on our honeymoon 48 years ago!
